My husband and I have been training horses together for nearly 32 years.

Horses have been our love for all of our lives.  We both grew up with horses.  My husband has been a farrier since he was in high school  (a long time ago :-)   We have studied the methods of TOM DORRANCE, BILL DORRANCE and RAY HUNT.
We have studied directly with RAY HUNT, KEVIN WESCOTT (a protégé of TOM and RAY), BUCK BRANNAMAN, GREG ELIEL, JACK BRAINARD and others.   We are thankful to God for the talents he has given, and consider it our privilege to help to educate folks about the language of the horse, to foster communication between a horse and his human.

RANDY

We purchased Randy as a just turned 2 year old from one of the largest breeders of Quarter Horses on the east coast.  He had some trouble with a German trainer who saddled him and tied his head between his legs via the bridle reins to start him under saddle.  Randy had an anxiety attack,  went rogue and became a cold backed bucker.
We were launched many times by Randy because we did not know how to understand his language.  No matter what you asked Randy to do, he would move at a snails pace... then stop.  If you asked for any more past that stop, he WOULD bronk.
Tom Dorrance and Kevin Wescott helped Bob figure out how to help this horse.  Randy and he have become inseparable.  Bob now uses Randy to do all kinds of feats and teaches  Clinics all over PA, NJ and NY with Randy's help.

ABOVE - OPIE - 6 year old Thoroughbred gelding.  Opie came to us because he would NOT GO forward or work off his hind end.  Habitual rearing if asked to do anything.  His owner was riding him with 2 whips and Opie still went along kicking at the fence and walls in the indoor instead of moving forward.
Opie progressed to be a wonderful, safe and useful boy.  He rides western dressage, and hunter to 3'.  He is also used for lessons for beginners, and safe for little children.
